The Spatial Design Suite
116 copy-paste AI prompts for people who design physical space — client briefs, concept narratives, interior and landscape schemes, retail layouts, specifications and presenting to a client.
Key Capabilities & Features:
- •The Practice Primer: paste your discipline, client type, typical budget and how you charge once — every prompt after it works for your practice
- •Brief prompts that surface how a client actually uses a space rather than what they say they want, which is where most scheme changes originate
- •Concept narratives written so a client can repeat them to a partner who was not at the meeting — the person who most often kills a scheme
- •Specification prompts that flag lead times early, because a six-week fixture discovered at install is a scheme change, not a delay
- •116 prompts across 7 sections — client briefs, concept narratives, interior schemes, landscape & planting and more
- •Works with ChatGPT (GPT-5), Claude Opus 5 and Gemini 3.7 Flash — fill the bracket, paste, done

Architecture & System Overview
Spatial design goes wrong in words, not drawings. A brief that recorded what the client said instead of how they live, a concept nobody could repeat to their partner, a specification a contractor had to ring about.
The Spatial Design Suite is a 116-prompt playbook covering client briefs, concept narratives, interior schemes, landscape and planting, retail and commercial layouts, specification and schedules, and presenting and revisions.
Start with the Practice Primer — paste in your discipline, your client type, typical budgets and how you charge — and every prompt after it works for your practice.
The brief prompts dig for how a space is actually used rather than what the client asks for, because the gap between those two is where nearly every mid-project change originates. The concept narrative section is written so a client can repeat the reasoning to a partner who was not in the room — that person kills more schemes than any budget does.
And the planting prompts ask about maintenance appetite honestly, since a scheme that needs weekly attention from someone who will not water it is a scheme that fails in year one.

The brief questions found the piano
Client had not mentioned a full-size upright piano they would never part with. The question about what is in the space that they have not mentioned surfaced it in the first meeting rather than at layout stage.
Concept narratives the client can repeat
The absent partner was killing my schemes for years. Writing the concept so my client could explain the reasoning themselves has changed my approval rate noticeably.
Sensible about plants
It repeatedly told me to check species with a nursery rather than presenting a confident planting list. Correct, and the maintenance-appetite question has saved two schemes from being planted for someone who will not water them.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the separate systems you used to sell?
It is all of them, in one purchase. Architecture Design Brief & Concept, Interior Design Concept & Plan, Landscape Design & Planting Plan, Retail Merchandising & Planogram are now sections inside this toolkit, alongside 3 more that were never sold separately. Bought individually they came to $77.
Does it produce drawings or layouts?
No. This is the written work around the drawings — briefs, concept narratives, scheme rationale, specifications, presentation and revision handling. The drawing stays with you and your CAD tools.
Is it specific to a discipline?
The Practice Primer asks yours and weights accordingly. Briefs, concept narratives, specification and presentation are shared across all four. Interior schemes, planting and retail layouts are discipline-specific sections you will use one of.
Does the planting section know my climate?
It asks for your region, aspect and soil and works from what you tell it, but it will not reliably know local species availability or hardiness. Treat plant suggestions as a starting list to check with a nursery — the prompts say so rather than presenting a species list as authoritative.
How is it delivered?
You receive a PDF with all 116 prompts organized into 7 sections, delivered within 24 hours of purchase. No app or account required — copy a prompt, fill in the bracketed variables, and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
Can I use this for client work?
Yes. Your purchase includes a single-user commercial and personal license, so you can use every prompt in your own business or for client deliverables without restriction.
