The Sustainability & ESG Protocol
132 copy-paste AI prompts for sustainability teams — carbon footprint work, ESG reporting narratives, impact measurement, circular economy models, renewable project briefs and utilities operations.
Key Capabilities & Features:
- •The Impact Primer: paste your sector, boundary, frameworks and data availability once — every prompt after it reasons with your real measurement limits
- •Emissions prompts that state uncertainty and boundary exclusions explicitly, since a confident footprint number with an undisclosed boundary is worse than no number
- •Reduction plans ranked by impact per pound spent rather than by what is easiest to announce
- •Reporting prompts that will help you disclose a programme that failed, which is the part most impact reporting quietly omits
- •132 prompts across 8 sections — emissions & footprint, esg reporting, impact measurement, circular economy models and more
- •Works with ChatGPT (GPT-5), Claude Opus 5 and Gemini 3.7 Flash — fill the bracket, paste, done

Architecture & System Overview
Sustainability reporting has a credibility problem, and it is usually created in the same two places: a footprint number quoted without its boundary, and an impact report that only describes what went well.
The Sustainability & ESG Protocol is a 132-prompt playbook covering emissions and footprint, ESG reporting, impact measurement, circular economy models, project planning, renewable energy briefs, utilities and operations, and land and agriculture.
Start with the Impact Primer — paste in your sector, your reporting boundary, the frameworks you report against and what data you genuinely have — and every prompt after it reasons with your real measurement limits.
Emissions prompts state boundary and uncertainty explicitly, because a confident figure with an undisclosed scope three exclusion does more reputational damage than an honest range. Reduction plans rank by impact per pound rather than by what is easiest to put in an announcement. And the impact section includes prompts specifically for reporting a programme that did not achieve what was hoped, since selectively reporting success is why this field gets distrusted.
Not assurance or regulatory advice. Anything that will be externally assured or filed needs a qualified practitioner, and the prompts say so.

Made us disclose our boundary properly
We had been quoting a footprint that excluded most of scope three without saying so. It refused to let that pass unstated. The revised figure is larger and far more defensible.
The failed programme disclosure
We had a programme miss its target badly and no idea how to report it. The prompt would not let me lead with adjacent good news. Funders responded better to the honest version than to anything we have written before.
Agriculture section is small
Emissions, reporting and impact are strong. Land and agriculture is twelve prompts, which is thin if that is your main area rather than an adjacent one.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the separate systems you used to sell?
It is all of them, in one purchase. Carbon Footprint & Reduction Plan, ESG Report & Metric Narrative, Impact Measurement & Reporting, Circular Economy Business Model, Climate & Sustainability Project Plan, Renewable Energy Project Brief, Energy & Utilities Operations Plan, Regenerative Economy Model, AgriTech & Farming Plan Builder are now sections inside this toolkit. Bought individually they came to $172.
Can it calculate our carbon footprint?
No. It helps you scope the boundary, structure the calculation, identify which categories you can measure versus estimate, and state uncertainty properly. The emissions factors and the calculation itself need proper data and, if it is being assured, a qualified practitioner.
Which reporting frameworks does it support?
The Primer asks which you report against and prompts work to those. It does not contain framework text — you need the actual standard alongside. The materiality, narrative and disclosure approaches are broadly transferable across frameworks.
Is this for corporates or for nonprofits?
Both. Emissions, ESG reporting and circular models lean corporate; theory of change and impact measurement lean nonprofit and social enterprise. The Primer asks and the prompts adjust who the reporting is addressed to.
How is it delivered?
You receive a PDF with all 132 prompts organized into 8 sections, delivered within 24 hours of purchase. No app or account required — copy a prompt, fill in the bracketed variables, and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
Can I use this for client work?
Yes. Your purchase includes a single-user commercial and personal license, so you can use every prompt in your own business or for client deliverables without restriction.
