The Product Management Playbook
164 copy-paste AI prompts for PMs — PRDs and specs, roadmap prioritisation, user stories, research and surveys, feedback synthesis, experiment design and UX writing.
Key Capabilities & Features:
- •The Product Primer: paste your product, users, team shape and current quarter once — every prompt after it writes for your actual context
- •PRD prompts that force explicit non-goals, which is where most scope disputes actually originate
- •Feedback synthesis that separates the loud request from the common one, since those are rarely the same users
- •Experiment prompts that estimate detectability before launch, so you stop shipping changes on inconclusive results
- •164 prompts across 10 sections — prds & specs, technical briefs, roadmap & prioritisation, user stories & acceptance criteria and more

What's Inside
10 modules164 promptsEvery module below is included in the single purchase.
- 1
PRDs & Specs
20 promptsDocuments that state the problem before the solution, scope with explicit non-goals, open questions surfaced rather than buried, and specs an engineer can estimate from.
Replaces a system previously sold separately
- 2
Technical Briefs
16 promptsFraming a feature for engineering, constraints and dependencies, edge cases enumerated up front, and the conversation about what is expensive before design starts.

- 3
Roadmap & Prioritisation
18 promptsComparing work on a consistent basis, sizing against confidence, sequencing by dependency, saying no with a reason, and a roadmap that survives contact with a quarter.

- 4
User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
16 promptsStories sliced to be shippable, acceptance criteria that are testable rather than aspirational, edge case coverage, and splitting a story too big to estimate.

- 5
Research & Surveys
18 promptsQuestions that do not lead the answer, sample and recruitment realities, interview guides, and knowing when a survey is the wrong instrument entirely.
Replaces a system previously sold separately
- 6
Feedback Synthesis
18 promptsTurning scattered feedback into themes with evidence, separating loud from common, spotting the request that is really a different problem, and closing the loop with users.
Replaces a system previously sold separately
- 7
Experiment Design
16 promptsFalsifiable hypotheses, isolating a variable, required sample before launching, guardrail metrics, and calling a result honestly when it is inconclusive.
Replaces a system previously sold separately
- 8
Build vs. Automate ROI
12 promptsCosting an internal automation against the manual process, hidden maintenance cost, break-even volume, and the honest case for leaving something manual.
Replaces a system previously sold separately
- 9
UX Writing
16 promptsMicrocopy that reduces hesitation, button labels that say what happens next, form and validation language, and copy that removes a support ticket.
Replaces a system previously sold separately
- 10
Errors, Empty States & Onboarding
14 promptsError messages that say what to do next, empty states that teach, first-run onboarding without a tooltip tour, and tooltips that earn their interruption.

Technical Specifications
Architecture & System Overview
Product work goes wrong in documents. A spec that describes a solution before establishing the problem, a roadmap that cannot survive one urgent request, acceptance criteria nobody can test against.
The Product Management Playbook is a 164-prompt playbook covering PRDs and specs, technical briefs, roadmap and prioritisation, user stories and acceptance criteria, research and surveys, feedback synthesis, experiment design, build versus automate ROI, UX writing, and errors, empty states and onboarding.
Start with the Product Primer — paste in your product, your users, your team shape and what this quarter is meant to achieve — and every prompt after it writes for your actual context.
The PRD prompts insist on explicit non-goals, because almost every mid-build scope argument traces back to something nobody wrote down as out of scope. The feedback synthesis section separates loud from common — the five customers who email constantly are rarely the same people as the two hundred who quietly churn — and the experiment prompts estimate whether you can detect an effect before you commit a sprint to measuring it.

Verified User Feedback
Loud versus common changed our roadmap
Three enterprise customers had been driving our priorities through sheer volume of email. Splitting the feedback by distinct people rather than message count showed a quiet theme affecting far more users. We built that instead.
Non-goals ended our scope arguments
Every PRD now has an explicit out-of-scope list and mid-build disputes have essentially stopped. Obvious in hindsight, and we were not doing it.
It refused to write the spec
I described a feature and it kept asking what problem it solved until I admitted I did not know. That was the finding. Went back to research.
ROI section assumes numbers I do not have
The build-versus-automate prompts want cost and volume data that a smaller team often has not measured. Useful once you do, less so before.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the separate systems you used to sell?
It is all of them, in one purchase. Product Requirements Document Builder, Feature Spec & Technical Brief, Product Roadmap & Prioritization Plan, User Story & Acceptance Criteria System, Survey Design & Question Builder, User Feedback Synthesis System, A/B Test Hypothesis & Analysis Plan, Automation Idea & ROI Validator, UX Copy & Microcopy System, Error Message & Empty State Copy, Onboarding Flow & Tooltip Copy, UX Research Plan & Interview Script are now sections inside this toolkit. Bought individually they came to $261.
Will it write my PRD for me?
It will get you a structured draft fast, but it is built to interrogate rather than comply. It asks for the problem before it will write a solution, requires non-goals, and surfaces open questions rather than filling them with plausible guesses. The decisions stay yours.
Does it cover design or engineering work?
It covers the PM side of both interfaces — technical briefs an engineer can estimate from, and UX writing including errors, empty states and onboarding. It does not cover visual design, architecture or implementation.
Is it tied to a particular framework or methodology?
No. Prioritisation prompts offer several comparison approaches rather than mandating one, and story slicing works whether you run sprints, kanban or continuous delivery. The Primer asks your cadence and adapts.
How is it delivered?
You receive a PDF with all 164 prompts organized into 10 sections, delivered within 24 hours of purchase. No app or account required — copy a prompt, fill in the bracketed variables, and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
Can I use this for client work?
Yes. Your purchase includes a single-user commercial and personal license, so you can use every prompt in your own business or for client deliverables without restriction.
