Architecture & System Overview
Small productions rarely fail on the idea. They fail on a shot list that does not cut, a schedule that was never achievable, and a motion brief vague enough to invite six rounds of revision.
The Motion & Film Workflow is a 108-prompt playbook covering script and structure, shot lists and coverage, animation storyboards, motion graphics briefs, 3D asset planning, production scheduling, and post and delivery.
Start with the Production Primer — paste in your format, crew, budget and timeline — and every prompt after it plans inside what you can actually shoot rather than proposing a crane you do not have.
The shot list prompts think about the edit, not the shoot: coverage that gives an editor options, and the specific shot you will wish you had grabbed. The scheduling section will tell you plainly when a day's work does not fit in a day. And the motion graphics briefs stage approvals deliberately, because a brief that goes straight to final render is a brief that comes back six times.

Shot-list prompts match my actual gear
The shot-list prompts match my actual gear — they ask for my lenses and camera before generating, which most templates never do. The storyboard prompts produce boards I can hand to a DP without rework. The VFX briefs are detailed enough to go straight to the artist.
Solid pre-production system
A solid pre-production system — client briefs and moodboards came together much faster than my old process. The location planning prompts are practical and cover the logistics I usually forget. Four stars because the VFX sections assume more pipeline experience than I have.
Told me my shoot day was 40% over
Ran my shot list through the feasibility prompt and it came back saying I had roughly fourteen hours of work in a nine hour window. Cut four setups on its ranking and finished with light to spare. Would have been a disaster otherwise.
Motion briefs with approval gates
Staging the brief into concept, animatic then final has cut my revision rounds roughly in half. Clients approve the right things at the right time now.
Post section is short
Script, shots and scheduling are the strong parts. Post and delivery is eight prompts, which is light given how much of a project lives there.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from the separate systems you used to sell?
It is all of them, in one purchase. Short Film Script & Shot List, Animation Storyboard & Scene Planner, Motion Graphics Brief & Script Builder, 3D Model Concept & Asset Planner are now sections inside this toolkit, alongside 3 more that were never sold separately. Bought individually they came to $152.
Is this for live action or animation?
Both, and the Production Primer asks which. Script, shot lists, scheduling and post are shared. Storyboarding and 3D asset planning lean animation; coverage and call sheets lean live action. Motion graphics gets its own dedicated section.
Does it help with editing or colour software?
No. It covers edit assembly order, sound and music briefs, colour direction as intent, and delivery specs — the decisions and documents. It does not teach Premiere, After Effects, Blender or Resolve.
How is it delivered?
You receive a PDF with all 108 prompts organized into 7 sections, delivered within 24 hours of purchase. No app or account required — copy a prompt, fill in the bracketed variables, and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
Can I use this for client work?
Yes. Your purchase includes a single-user commercial and personal license, so you can use every prompt in your own business or for client deliverables without restriction.
