The Fitness Studio Handbook
134 copy-paste AI prompts for gym and studio owners — membership pricing, class timetables that fill, the six-week drop-off, instructor hiring and pay, freezes and cancellations.
Key Capabilities & Features:
- •The Studio Primer: paste your capacity, membership numbers, average tenure and class fill rates once — every prompt after it works your real economics
- •A full section on the six-week drop-off, because attendance decays weeks before anyone cancels and that is the only window where intervention works
- •Pricing calculated from the cost of a filled class rather than from what the gym down the road charges
- •Freeze and cancellation policies written to be humane and still solvent, which is a harder problem than either alone
- •134 prompts across 8 sections — membership & pricing, timetable & capacity, trials & onboarding, the six-week drop-off and more
- •Works with ChatGPT (GPT-5), Claude Opus 5 and Gemini 3.7 Flash — fill the bracket, paste, done
One-time payment • Lifetime access & future updates

Architecture & System Overview
Nobody cancels a gym membership on the day they decide to. They stop coming six weeks earlier, and by the time the cancellation email arrives the decision is old news.
The Fitness Studio Handbook is a 134-prompt playbook covering membership and pricing, timetable and capacity, trials and onboarding, the six-week drop-off, freezes and cancellations, instructors and pay, community and retention, and local marketing.
Start with the Studio Primer — paste in your capacity, membership numbers, average tenure and class fill rates — and every prompt after it works your real economics.
The drop-off section gets its own eighth of the toolkit because that is where the money is. Attendance decays in a recognisable pattern, and a member who has gone from three visits a week to one is reachable in a way that a member who has already written the cancellation email is not. The prompts tell you what to look for and what to send, and are explicit that the message must not read as a sales attempt.
Pricing is calculated from the cost of a filled class rather than from the board outside the gym down the road. Their cost base is not yours and their occupancy is not yours, and pricing against them is how studios end up busy and broke.
And the instructor section handles the conversation owners avoid: the instructor whose class is full because of them personally, and what happens when they leave.

Nineteen members had already left
Still paying, frequency halved, and I had not noticed a single one. Eleven came back after the check-in message. It does not mention the membership at all, which is why it works.
I was pricing against the gym down the road
Their rent is a third of mine and they hold four times as many people. Costing a filled class properly meant raising prices about fifteen percent. Lost four members, made considerably more money.
The instructor with a following
One class was full because of one person and I had been avoiding thinking about it. There is a whole set of prompts on exactly that, including what to agree before it becomes urgent.
No programming content
It is entirely the business side. Stated clearly, but I bought expecting some class planning material and there is none.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it write training programmes?
No. This is the business of running a studio — pricing, timetables, retention, instructors, cancellations. Programme design for clients is The Training & Nutrition Stack or The Coaching Practice Protocol.
I run classes without a permanent space. Useful?
Mostly. Pricing, trials, drop-off, community and local marketing apply directly. Capacity planning and the fixed-cost material assume a lease and will not fit.
Do I need attendance data?
For the drop-off section, yes — even a rough export by member. That section is the most valuable part of the toolkit and it cannot work on impressions, because the members who worry you are rarely the ones actually leaving.
How is it delivered?
You receive a PDF with all 134 prompts organized into 8 sections, delivered within 24 hours of purchase. No app or account required — copy a prompt, fill in the bracketed variables, and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
Can I use this for client work?
Yes. Your purchase includes a single-user commercial and personal license, so you can use every prompt in your own business or for client deliverables without restriction.
