Architecture & System Overview
A digital product earns most of its money in the first fortnight and then stops. Everyone optimises the launch; almost nobody works on week six onward, which is where the difference between a side income and a real one actually sits.
The Digital Product Seller Stack is a 138-prompt playbook covering product pages, pricing and pay-what-you-want, launch sequences, bundles and cross-sell, buyer support, licensing and usage rights, email and owned audience, and after the spike.
Start with the Product Primer — paste in what you sell, which platform, your price and how it has sold so far — and every prompt after it works your actual catalogue.
The pricing section is unusually direct about pay-what-you-want: what it genuinely does to average revenue, when a suggested price raises it, and the product types where a fixed price simply earns more. It is treated as a decision with a cost rather than a philosophy.
And the licensing section writes terms a buyer can understand, because a licence nobody reads is a licence nobody follows — and enforcing something unclear damages the relationship more than the redistribution did.
Works with Gumroad, Payhip, Lemon Squeezy or your own checkout. Platform-specific mechanics are named where they differ.

The launch was the anomaly
I had been trying to fix a decline that was not a decline — my launch sold to my whole email list at once and the ongoing rate was simply the real rate. Knowing that changed the problem from fixing the page to building acquisition.
Honest about pay-what-you-want
Every other resource treats it as obviously good. Working through what it did to my revenue per download rather than my download count led me to switch two of four products to fixed price.
Licence terms people can read
Mine were copied from someone else's and I did not fully understand them myself. Plain-language versions have already stopped two customisation requests I would previously have said yes to.
Not for deciding what to build
It sells the product you already have and says so upfront. If you are at the idea stage this is the wrong purchase — I needed the strategy toolkit first.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which platform is this for?
Gumroad, Payhip, Lemon Squeezy or your own checkout. The Primer asks which and the prompts name platform-specific mechanics — pay-what-you-want, licence keys, affiliate settings — where they genuinely differ. Most of the material is about the product and the buyer rather than the platform.
Does it help me decide what product to make?
Only lightly. This is about selling a product you have. If you are still deciding what to build, the validation section of The Business Strategy Playbook is the better starting point.
Is pay-what-you-want actually worth using?
Sometimes, and the toolkit is specific about when. It reliably increases downloads and usually decreases revenue per download; whether that trade is worth it depends on whether you want reach or income from this particular product. The prompts work that through with your numbers rather than recommending it generally.
How is it delivered?
You receive a PDF with all 138 prompts organized into 8 sections, delivered within 24 hours of purchase. No app or account required — copy a prompt, fill in the bracketed variables, and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
Can I use this for client work?
Yes. Your purchase includes a single-user commercial and personal license, so you can use every prompt in your own business or for client deliverables without restriction.
